Abstract work uses mixed media, acrylics, and enamaels on thick gallery-style stretchers. The textures are created using rocks, twigs, hair, bark mulch, dirt, dust and detritus. The color fields are then slowly created. Finally, the textures are higlighted through an even slower process of addition and subtraction. These pieces are especially striking when hung in front of a windowfacing south to receive varying degrees and qualities of sunlight.
